Travel
The airport of Mahon is a 10 min. drive from Calan Porter. Car Hire is recommended to explore the island but is not essential.
Distances
The village of Calan Porter is 15k from the capital Mahon and there are many places of interest, including the Port area.

Calan Porter has something for all the family, including a Fun House for the little ones, playpark for the kids, discos for the teenagers or a wide choice of restaurants and bars to suit all moods and tastes.

To book check availability and a booking form will be e mailed to you. We require a £75 deposit with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before your arrival.
Changeover day
Changeovers days are Mondays but can be flexible.
Golf
Menorca has only one golf course Son Parc which is about 20 min. drive. The course is located on the North coast of the island and is quite challengeing.
Fishing
Sea Fishing is available from many points around the island. There is no river or lake fishing.
Scuba Diving
Menorca is a great place for scuba diving and there are several dive centres around the island.
Beach
Menorca has beach resorts for all the family, some for those who like it busy and some off the beaten track for peace and tranquility. Undoubtedly the islands biggest attraction is that there are over 100 beaches to choose from. Calan Porter is located on the popular southern coastline, it has shallow waters and gently sloping sands which are ideal for children.
Wine Tasting
There is a new vinyard just before the entrance to Calan Porter, but unfortunately the wine is not ready for tasting, but Menorcan wine is available. Menorca is most famous for Xoriguer Gin distillery and tasting is available on the Port of Mahon.
Accessibility
Not specially constructed for wheelchair users but on a reasonable level plot with an easy level walk to the village.
Outside
Mature front garden with access to the south side and rear of the villa. On the south side there is a raised patio area with brick built barbecue and dining table for alfresco dining and steps down to the secluded private pool and sunbathing area. All sunbeds are provided. The pool measures 8 metres long x 4 metres wide and is 1.80 metres at the deep end. The shallow end has roman steps for easy access.
