The La Florida Tennis and Country Club is just a 2 minute walk away. You can sit around the pool there and enjoy a drink or two. Ideal to visit for lunch as they offer very reasonably priced food and drink. Free use of the facilites - you only pay if you wish to use a tennis court.The villages of La Camella and Valle San Lorenzo are close by and offers a choice of local bars, shops, supermarkets, banks, internet cafes and several renowned restaurants offering a variety of food for all tastes. A folder in the villa gives suggestions. The village of Valle San Lorenzo is an easy half mile walk and has bakeries offering fresh bread daily as well as everything else you could need. The Ecological Park is just a short drive away. A choice of sandy beaches within about a 10 minute drive. There are also 6 golf courses within a twenty minute drive. Impressive Mount Teide is a must to visit - spend the day and drive down to the other side of the island for completely different scenery

Self-catering Detached villa in South Tenerife with own private pool . This holiday villa is larger than the average holiday self-catering villa and is a home from home. Three spacious bedrooms and master bedroom boasts a Super King size bed. The villa has two further bedrooms - one with a double bed and built in wardrobes and the other bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes. For all your self-catering needs there is a separate fully fitted kitchen kitchen. The holiday villa is situated in a lovely green oasis in a quiet location but within a 10 minute drive of the beaches and resorts of Los Cristianos or Playa las Americas, Tenerife. Guests book again and again.

Notes on price:
The villa sleeps up to 6 people and the prices are for the villa per week. And the prices are a lot lower then comparable villas - this property is a spacious home from home. The property is not overlooked and is not to be confused with the tiny villas in the holiday resort areas. The area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts. A car is recommended but there is a bus stop at the end of the road. For Xmas/New Year the price is £2,200 for two weeks.
Changeover day is Friday or Tuesday - although some other days can be offered during Off Peak season. I can hold the villa for a couple of days for guests to source flights and I then ask for 10% non-returnable deposit and the balance 8 weeks before guests fly.
Janet is the local contact in case you have any problems during your holiday. For bookings of two weeks or more there is a linen change and mini clean at the end of the first week. Linen and towels are provided but please take own towels for around the pool and beach. The swimming pool is serviced once a week. Linen and towels are provided. Please take your own towels for the beach and pool.

Notes on accommodation: Children are welcome but please be aware of the dangers of the swimming pool and pond with young children left unattended. The tennis courts are at the nearby La Florida Tennis Club. An ideal place to enjoy a drink in the shade by their large pool or have a reasonable priced lunch. Entrance is free and you only pay for the hire of a tennis court if you wish to be energetic. The Club is only a two minute stroll away. There is a portable tower fan for those warmer days.

Distances
The villa is situated at La Florida between the two Tenerife villages of La Camella and Valle San Lorezo. Los Cristanos is the nearest resort and is about a 10 minute drive away and Playa las Americas approximately 12 minutes away. You are away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts while being close enough to enjoy all the facilities. Valle San Lorenzo is only a half a mile, easy walk away, and boasts a variety of shops, restaurants and bars and includes bakeries which bake fresh bread daily. A car is recommended but there is an hourly bus service to Los Cristianos from the end of the road. If you get fed up with your own private pool at the villa The La Florida tennis club is only a 2 minute walk away where you can enjoy a drink around by the pool or if more energetic a swim or a game of tennis.

Changeover/arrival days are either a Tuesday or Friday. There is a local British contact who looks after the villa for me and is available in case of any problems. This is a private and comfy home from home and not ot be confused with holiday villas on the coast.
