Protaras is about 2km away and has endless bars, restaurants and sandy beaches including the renouned Fig Tree Bay. Agia Napa is about 13km away for those wishing to enjoy the wilder side of life. Both Protaras and Agia Napa have water sports including boat trips, paragliding and jet skis and water parks with the one at Agia Napa being the largest in Europe.

You could spend your whole holiday in Kapparis with beaches and amenities all within a few minutes walk. There are quiet sandy coves and some watersports in Kapparis. There is a view point to the deserted Northern Cyprus resort which provides an eery contrast to the bustling Greek side of the island.
There are a number of bars and restaurants in the village all within walking distance which cater for all tastes including traditional Cypriot , contemporary Italian, Chinese and Pub style menus. There are two small supermarkets and other shops.
There is a pool bar providing entertainment for the kids and a relaxing drink fro the adults and next door to this is a crazy golf course. There are car and bike hire outlets in the village. For food shopping there is a large supermarket called Orphanides which is about 2km away.
