Clun "one of the quietest places under the sun" ( A.E. Houseman) and yet situated within easy reach of many attractions. Located in Shropshire but on the border of Wales and Hereford there are many interesting National Trust properties including Powys Castle,Berrington Hall,Croft Castle and Attingham Park,an abundance of gardens The Dingle,Hergest Croft and Hampton Court Gardens to name but a few.Ironbridge is only an hours drive away as is the county town of Shrewsbury.South Shropshire has been linked with good eating for many years and Ludlow has attracted "foodies" for some time.There are any Farmers Markets and excellent local produce is widely available.Walking and cycling are weel ctered for here with Offa's Dyke passing nearby also The Shropshire Way, Mortimer Forest Trail and Kerry Ridgeway plus the famous Long Mynd and surrounding hills.
However the most appealing feature of this county is its "hidden" qualities, forget the hustle and bustle drive on quieter roads enjoy a slower pace of life and first and foremost the magnificent scenery.

Description:
Pooh Hall Cottages are situated at the edge of woodland overlooking the Clun valley and the town of Clun itself.The all three cottages have far reaching views and direct access onto woodland paths making it an ideal walking base yet within reach of many attractions for sightseeing.Dogs are welcome in two of the cottages.

Kitchen: Fully equipped open plan kitchen to one side of the living room.Full size cooker, microwave (fridge freezer in the utility room)
Dining table seats four.
Living Rooms: TV,DVD,VCR,CD and radio.Leather settee and woodburning stove.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid Service: All linen and towels included changed weekly
Utility room: Utility room off the main room has fridge /freezer , dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Keeper's Cottage

Booking by telephone or email.Brochure and booking form sent by post and booking secured with a 25% deposit the remainder payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. Payment by cheque only or when the booking is made within 4 weeks payment is by cash on arrival.

Changeover day
Arrival /departure days are flexible.Short stays (minimum 3 nights) taken all year. Arrival after 3 pm departure by 10 am.(unless otherwise agreed)

Church Stretton whic is one of the highest in England - 30 minutes drive.
Hawkstone Park - 1 hours drive
Ludlow - 20 minutes drive

Accessibility
All cottages are on two levels with open plan staircases which make them unsuitable for people with mobility problems. The site itself is on a slope with several changes of level which again makes it unsuitable for wheelchair access or mobility problems.
