On the beach in front of the apartment you can buy fresh fish three or four times a week from the local fisherman and there are bus stops serving routes to Brighton and Eastbourne to the East and Worthing Centre, Arundel, Chichester and Portsmouth to the West. The beaches are safe for swimming with gently sloping sand underfoot which is exposed at all but high tide.

Worthing is a very characteristic town with interesting architecture, a museum, theatre and cinemas. There is an extremely good range of shops and restaurants. Internet access is available at the library as well as in the Internet Café. There is a weekly market on Wednesdays in the town centre pedestrian precinct. It is also unusual today in that it is a very peaceful and relaxing town to walk around, by day or night.

Worthing is a short bus ride from Brighton and Arundel and just half an hour train journey from London.
