The Gite is located in the small 'de Couches' wine region, where you can go on wonderful walks. The area is very well suited for cycling fans. You can cycle among picturesque villages with beautiful Romanesque churches and wine castles from the 'cote de Beaune' and 'cote de Chalonaise'. Larger, beautiful cities such as Autun, Cluny and Tournus are also highly recommended. Even the excavations at Bibracte and the great Gallic city on Mont Beuvray, founded by one of the most powerful nations of Gaul, the Aedui, are worth a visit.

| Description: |
"Le Bât de l'Âne" means: the saddle of a donkey. It is a comfortable Gite for 6-7 persons. It is located in the small village of Precelles, between the vineyards of de Couches, which is a part of de Chalonais, near the village of Saint-Jean-de-Trezy. It is 30 km from the towns of Beaune, Chalon-sur-Saone and Montceau. The Gite is part of the property of the French/English-speaking owner, who will welcome you to the area, but also respect your privacy. The Gite is equipped with a large private courtyard with many flowers. A small lake, with picnic tables and toys, is located 200 meters from the Gite. You will find here all the necessities for a holiday in the French countryside, with all the conveniences of a modern, spacious Gite.

On the day of departure the Gite has to be clean. If the Gite is not clean a cleaning fee of 40 euros will be charged. Electricity consumption is 8kW per day, if you use more, a fee will appear on the bill. Bed linen is not included - you have to bring it.
