They are set in a pretty courtyard with panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The living area's are large and comfortable with original granite stone walls in the Gite and original features in both buildings. There are large settee's and chairs to accomodate all in both buildings, a sofa bed settee (for extra guests), basic sky TV and a selection of cd's and videos for all ages. The well stocked bookshelf's also contain games and jigsaws.
There are fully equipped modern kitchen's including fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and CD/cassette/radio. Bottled gas supplies the cooker. The dining table's have sufficient chairs for everyone and a high chair can be provided on request.
There are two well decorated and airy loft bedrooms, one double and one twin, each has room for a folding bed (suitable for children) in the Gite. The Farmhouse has 3 large bedrooms. All towels, linen, duvets and pillows are provided. A travel cot can be provided on request.
The bathrooms have showers, w.c. and hand wash basin.
Why not wander out into the orchard after a hard days sightseeing and enjoy a barbeque, you can watch the sun go down with a glass or two of wine. Our younger guests will enjoy petting the goats and sheep.
Depending on the time of year you will be able to pick apples, pears, cherries, plums, peaches or walnuts.
As you will discover there is plenty to see and do in the local area, why not visit the huge market at St Hilaire du Harcouet on a Wednesday morning and pick up some of the wonderful French cheese and cider for lunch.
The small market towns of Gorron and Ambrieres les Vallees are close by and you will find all your provisions in the supermarkets there.
A little further away is the Mont St Michel which is a wonderful monestery built on rock out at sea and well worthy of a day out!
St Fraimbault is just around the corner and is known as the village of flowers, if you visit in the summer you will soon understand why!
Lots of the local villages have fetes throughout the summer where you can mingle with the locals and enjoy the French way of life.
