It is in the Cominges Region in the Department of Haute Garonne. The house is full of atmosphere and is in the oldest part of an 18th century farmhouse. It even has the original bread oven. The holiday home is attractively furnished with all modern comforts. There is a private entrance, parking spaces and a garden. The delightful terrace enjoys beautiful views of the Pyrenees.
Unfortunately the house is not suitable for families with young children.
This relatively unknown area runs from IIsle en Dodon to the Spanish border. The region borders onto the Gers in the north west. This is an agricultural area with endless sloping hills which looks very much like Tuscany. The area slowly changes as the hills get higher and woodland increases. You can enjoy beautiful views of the Pyrenees from the hill tops. This unspoilt area has quiet villages and small towns such as Aurignac and IIsle en Dodon. They have pleasant restaurants, shops and markets. You can enjoy day trips to the splendid cities of Lourdes, Carcassonne and Toulouse. You can also visit the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic coast. Dont miss the attractive seaside resorts of Bayonne and Biaritz.
