Mas de Jouas is a beautiful old Mas with the guest bedrooms, living, dining and kitchen situated within a three storey barn conversion maintaining its beautiful character and features throughout. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 boast newly renovated bathrooms and suites, all have luxurious new Italian stone tiling and super new bath/showers. The family suite has two fabulous large oval sinks to suit every family!
All the upstairs rooms have en-suites too, with baths/showers with the exception of the twin room with a handheld shower only. All the upstairs rooms have bidets.
Living Rooms:
Our huge living area is for guest use with leather sofas, TV for the kids and a huge dining space for all our table d'hôte guests! It boasts enormous beams from the original barn.

With two young children of our own we understand the importance of keeping young ones occupied on a family holiday. We have a large secure pool with easy access to the deeper area via a gentle slope that provides a shallow swim area, you can also walk right around the edge of the pool. There is a childrens play area with a sand pit, swings including a babyswing, big slide with tower, climbing rope, baby slide and rocker, playhouse , badminton and other toys as well as plenty of space in the grounds. We have chickens, ducks, a swan, dogs and cats!! Children are more than welcome to join us at feeding time and perhaps find an egg for dinner! Family rooms and the lounge area come kitted out with a DVD player and we can lend you some DVDs to give parents a well earned break! There are crayons, books, toys and games to keep little and older ones amused. You will often find usproviding activities to keep all of them amused such a pizza making, stories, music etc.
We offer the option of children having an earlier child-friendly dinner together so the parents can pop them to bed and have some adult time in the evening with the knowledge of knowing they are tucked in just upstairs, baby monitors welcome at dinner too! If you need it - we have it; from a changing mat with wahsable covers in every room, highchairs, travel stair gates, play mats, travel booster chairs for those French restaurants, toddler backpack for those non-pushchair friendly walks, bed guard, potties and trainer toilet seats to steam steriliser, bottle warmer, childrens/babies plates, cups and cuttlery. In the kitchen there are microwaves and a fridge exclusively for guests to use so you can purchase picnic food and kiddies snacks. Please ask us for family day out ideas or we can supply a couple of cool boxes and essentials for your use on beautiful picnic days! We also have a baby sling, spare car seats and buggy, a foldup sun cot, play pen, baby walker and lots more...even emergency nappies, bibs and muslins! Just ask I am sure we have it!
We can provide a holiday pack to reduce your luggage load if you are flying; nappies, snacks, wipes, baby food, fruit, yoghurt, milk etc we just add the cost of the shop to your final bill.
We also offer babysitting at 15€ per hour for up to two children with notice.
