Roccamador is an hour away, Millau bridge an hour and a half.Historical Conques hosts concerts and exhibitions, wonderful restaurants,walking paths, an abbey church and treasures.

| walking 15 km a day, i was glad to have found Lou Peyrou in Conques. Just beautiful, and everything has been made so cosy, Near to the village but with views accross the little red river! Chris and sally went out of their way to make me feel really at home. |

Notes on price:
Prices start from 30 euro's for one person, including a large breakfast. Two people in the double room will pay 45 euros, including breakfast.Dinner can be arranged for guests, including wine/juice, for 18euros each. If you wish to stay for an extended period, we can discuss a special price.

Notes on accommodation:
lou peyrou is not suitable for toddlers as we have high balconies etc. Well behaved dogs are welcome!There is a pottery studio/painting studio. Classes can be arranged.
We can provide evening meals with notice. Vegetarian etc, not a problem.

Rodez is the nearest airport serving the uk and Dublin. 30 minutes by car. There is car-hire at the airport. Toulouse is 2 hours away. Montpelier 2.5 hours. Spain 4 hours drive.We do airport pick-ups/or train station.
Distances
Conques is 5 minutes walk. St Cyprien with good facilities is 10 minutes by car.City of Rodez is 30 minutes away. Albi is 2 hours away. Norman Foster's bridge is an hour and a half.

Conques has a small selection of shops. Bakers, deli, numerous cafe's/bars/restaurants. Cash machine and post office. Doctors. Police station.
Booking notes
We would ask you to email or telephone to discuss your booking needs etc. A deposit cheque is held untill your arrival, as a deposit. This is important in the main season, as we have alot of 'passing trade'. Payment taken in Euros.

In the river below and the river Lot is only 5kms away.
Wine Tasting
There are several vineyards locally. Conques itself has a really good one. Visitors welcome. Marciliac wine is also nearby. Estaing.
Accessibility
There are steps up through the garden which may be a problem for some. Fairly hilly all around.
Outside
Balconies/terraces with furniture. There is a large shared area where guests are welcome to relax on recliners, and eat their meals. The smaller balcony has a table and two chairs just for the guests. There are other terraces to explore!
