Description:

Well equipped with cooker, oven, fridge, bathroom, shower, English TV and video, washing twin tub. Large garden for football, volley ball, badminton. Close to old market towns, abbeys, chateaux, WWI battlefields, golf course, aquaclub and other activities. Three mountain bikes in the house. Superb forest walks start in the village. Paris is 90 minutes drive, Amiens, Arras, Lille, Beauvais one hour. The closest coastline is Le Crotoy(14 km) a pleasant fishing port at the mouth of the Somme. there aretwo nice safe beaches at Quend Plage and Fort Mahon (20 km). St Valery sur Somme (21km) has a medieval old high town with outstanding views across the Bay of the Somme. The Parc de Marquenterre (16 km) is a world renowned bird reservation. Any start day is possible - I usually advise my clients to avoid expensive Saturday tariffs on the ferry.
