Lady's Island
This area is a well-known place of Pilgrimage. A nice walk is around the actual island and Church on the island and will only take at the very most 40 minutes. Note the ruin of the original Church - it is regarded as having a greater lean than the Tower of Pisa. Lady's Island is also a well known bird watching area.
Wexford Town
This town is well worth seeing and is laden with very nice coffee shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. For the ladies it has plenty of boutiques which are as good as any on the high street.

Further details
Our Lady's Island village has a supermarket for regular shopping, however, Rosslare Port has one more suitable for doing your weekly shop. The Lobster Pot is just over a mile from the house and slightly further than that is another excellent restaurant, The Castle which also has pitch and putt

House swap

Changeover day
Saturday is changeover day. I ask that you leave the property by 10am giving me time to have place cleaned and prepared for next visitors at 3. If however you arrive early I will exchange number with you and let you know when house is ready
Beach
The nearest beach is Nethertown and is very safe, close by there are also St Margarets, Carne and many many others
Golf
Local course is St Helens Bay - a terrific 18 hole course with Tusker Rock a sister course, 9 holes. If you are a golfer you will be spoiled for choice with Rosslare, Wexford, Enniscorthy, Waterfod Castle, Faithlegg to name but a few within easy commuting distance. St Helens are presently offereing a 3 course pass to include St Helens, Faithlegg and Seafield - all lovely courses - I've played them all!
Fishing
Fishing tackle may be purchased in Wexford and there is excellent fishing very close to the house from the shore. Alternatively speak to some locals and enquire about boats going out
Scuba Diving
There is regular scuba diving in Hook Head
