Situated at 600 metres above sea level in the district of Smerillo, it is part of the Sibillini mountain range. The surrounding area is of enchanting natural beauty with rolling hills and valleys separated by wonderful forests containing precious vegetation of ecological importance.
The complex comprises of 6 double/twin rooms with ensuite and one small apartment sleeping up to 4 people with private kitchen and disability access.
The restaurant comprises of indoor and, in the warmer months, an outdoor eating area. Here you will enjoy a menu of homemade and local dishes.
All the products used are either home grown or purchased from local producers. These include fruit, vegetables, cakes, cheese, extra virgin olive oil, meat, wine, honey...
A sunlit arcade overlooks the tranquil landscape with stunning views of the area. Here it is easy to relax and let go of the stresses of everyday life as you enjoy the charm and peace of the surroundings.
At the disposal of the guests there is a swimming pool where you can spend the hotter hours of the day, and also a multi functional room where you can meet with other guests, play cards, darts and various other indoor games. Other activities available include, 5 aside football, grass volley ball and table tennis.
There is aslo a large enclosure where there are numerous farm animals.
A path that joins the complex leads to a small stream Di Dur. Part of the Forest of Smerillo, it is a protected area with the presence of numerous and rare species of vegetation. Here it is easy to discover extrodinary subsoil rich in fossils and spring water.
Thanks to the central location of Vecchio Tasso it is easy to visit medieval villages of huge historical and artistic interest, with examples of the Crivelli brothers work in local churches. This along with the National Park of Monti Sibillini, and the large portale towns make the Marche a very important region of Italy and a very popular holiday destination for tourist.
