It is surrounded by numerous hamlets with tightly packed houses. There is a diving centre on Levanto beach. You can hire boats, pedalos, canoes and surfboards. Levanto is the ideal place for visiting the Cinque Terre. The five picturesque villages are almost inaccessible by car. They are connected by the train which leaves from Levanto. The villages can also be reached along one of the most beautiful coastal walking paths in Europe. Youll enjoy splendid breathtaking views of the sea, hills, olive and citrus groves, small vineyards and beautiful flora.
