Premeno, along with the neighboring villages of Esio, Pollino and Pian di Sole, is situated 800 to 1100 meters above sea level. Thanks to its wonderful location you can take beautiful mountain walks through numerous natural parks (Val Grande, Trinity and Veglia). The Grande Valley Park, for example, is a mixture of valleys and forests and offers a unique opportunity to observe 1,000 year-old nature. This wonderful environment is also a paradise for golfers. In the immediate vicinity there are more than 10 golf courses. Other activities include: mountain biking, horseback riding, numerous water sports such as water-skiing, wind surfing and sailing. For the younger guests you will find theme parks such as Adventure Park Baveno (11 km) or the Pombia Safari Park (60 km), which are easy to reach. In winter you can easily reach the surrounding Lepontians Alps, with their winter villages of Macugnaga, Val Formazza and Alpe Devero. Near Premeno, in the Pian de Sole Valley, you will find ski slopes complete with artificial snow and a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore!
