Thanks to its central position in "Val Bormida" (the valley of Bormida), Spigno Monferrato is an excellent operating base for various day trips. You can choose different ways to explore the direct vicinity: by car, by bike or on foot. Just in a day you can see some of the most beautiful places in Italy. In Piemonte these are Acqui Terme and Alessandria; in the North there are Milan and Turin; in the West you will find scenic valleys and countless beauties of nature. The Riviera of Flowers and the oldest harbour of Europe, Genova, will tempt you to go south. Genova is also the birth place of Christopher Columbus (“Colombo”). Besides, you can visit the famous Cinque Terre and cities such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence in the South. The so-called “three Ps” will invite you to go east: Parma, Pavia and Piacenza, each of them with its own spirit, character and not to forget – delicious local treats!

| Description: |
Cascina "Attimo di Pace" was built in the beginning of the 20th century as a farmhouse ("cascina") in the vicinity of the hunting lodge "Oltrevalle". The farm took care of the arable land around the Hunting Lodge and the vineyard. Cascina "Attimo di Pace" lies appr. 300 m high in the Bormida valley. The former farmhouse with a view of the water reservoir on its long side and Spigno Monferrato village on its short side, stands on top of a hill. The house is surrounded by various sun terraces. Specially for little guests, there is a small go-kart and a tricycle. A baby changing pad is available.
