A favorite of cycling, hiking and whitewater enthusiasts (we offer special discounts to those rafting with the Nantahala Outdoor Center!), we are equally convenient for the pursuit of history, antiques, art, folklore, or those seeking the perfect wine from the many wineries flourishing on the newly established Georgia Wine Trail. When you've satisfied your thirst for adventure, retire to the Beechwood for an afternoon snack, a glass of wine, a good book and the sweeping views of the southern Blue Ridge Mountains. A good night's sleep will be assured from luxury linens in the cozy guest rooms.

Each of our guest rooms has been furnished for comfort and tanquility using antiques and locally crafted primitive pieces. Every room has a private bath, air conditioning, luxury linens, and spectacular views of Blackrock Mountain or our lush gardens. Our room rates are $139-$179 per night (double occupancy).

Dinners, Winetastings and Receptions. The Beechwood Inn kitchen is licensed as a restaurant and can prepare a gourmet meal for you and your friends. Innkeepers Gayle and David Darugh have professional training and many years of experience as chefs. They can assist you in planning a wine and gastronomy event that will be memorable and romantic. Small intimate groups (6-12) our are specialty, but we can also host larger groups of up to 25 at the Inn. Our specialties include California Nouveau, Pacific Rim and Sante Fe style dinners. Typical four course dinners with matching wines cost about $68 - $75 dollars per person (depending on the entree), which includes food and wine, plus tax.
